It’s crazy how the world works doesn’t it?! When I was first injured, my family was at the hospital within hours! I don’t just mean my mom, dad and sister…I’m talking 5 Aunts, 1 Uncle, cousins and friends. One of my Aunts even made it all the way from Rochester before some of my local friends did and that is how Mr. David Naylor heard about my story.

My Aunt is a good friend of his family and she not only came to see me but she stayed for weeks away from her family to make sure I was taken care of properly as she is a nurse herself. Little did I know that she is friends with some pretty cool people and that’s when I met David. We have yet to meet in person but it was like talking to someone I’ve always known once we started chatting. Not only that but we share a love of cycling and racing fast cars! I was more than happy to be invited onto his podcast, the Motivational Intelligence Podcast as he has a huge following worldwide and has had some amazing people on his podcast prior to me!

It’s one of those things that kind of just reassures you that the work you’re doing isn’t going unnoticed. It’s not that I do it for attention but I’m building a brand here people! I wish that my good will, love and kindness could carry me through but getting my name out there and establishing Anthony Lue as an Internationally recognized speaker and accessibility advocate is where I’m heading. The sky is the limit for me and limitless is my title! Anthony “limitless” Lue. I It’s all just a mindset- things don’t happen to you they happen for you.

I told my manager that I’ve figured out the secret to life! She gave the her typical “here we go again” look and then I told her it’s to do whatever the fuck you want! Do what makes you happy and what makes your heart sing! She looked at me and just agreed because she knew exactly what I meant. She has seen me at the race track around cars and said she has never seen me so happy and I wasn’t even driving!!!!! And we have raised a lot of money together so far so… lol with that being said I know it’s a lot easier said than done. BUT when you look around and you see the happiest people in life, they are generally doing something that they are passionate about or that makes them smile from ear to ear.

I’m not just talking about work here but I mean life as a whole. You have to have some alone time, an outlet, a hobby, a tv show, something that makes you feel alive!!! I honestly think that if you’re living for a basic 9-5 work and home, work and home routine, you’re wasting the most precious thing you have, and that is time! We never know when it’s going to run out so live for today! Don’t put off plans that will make you happy and bring you fulfilment. You shouldn’t feel bad about feeling good!

With that being said there is always that BALANCE! Work/play good/bad beer/wine lolol. I really believe that at the age of 32 I have figured out my balance and that’s  probably why I’ve never been happier in my life in one of the worst years in decades! I really hope that I’ll be able to preach this message to the masses one day! I want to let people know that it’s ok to dream again and treat yourself every now and then because like I said, you never know when! #Yolo

O yea enjoy the podcast! It’s way better than this post!
